About Monsters & Beasts

Large, heavy throats and a whole cycle of behaviour: a beast checking its territory, sniffing out prey, sneaking up, crawling closer, threatening, calming down and roaring again. Between them sit quieter moments such as deep breathing, contented sounds or shaking itself off, so the creature feels alive even when it is not attacking. These are slower and deeper than the quick reactions of Dark Creature, built for the moment a player realises how big the thing in the dark really is. Use them for boss creatures and roaming beasts in games, creature films and fantasy audio dramas, and pitch them further down for something even larger.
