About The Suffering

Pain almost without words: long plaintive crying, deep laments, howling and wailing, short sharp cries and screams of pain, with only a few spoken moments such as oh, it hurts. Between them sit coughing, panic and quiet, melancholic crying, so the category covers grief as well as physical pain. These sit between Women in Despair and The Dying: the person is still fighting, but it is getting worse. Use them in horror games, survival scenes, thrillers and audio dramas, and with care in anything aimed at a general audience.
