About this sound
Cold, hollow, and utterly unsettling, this 17-second recording captures a female poltergeist consumed by malicious glee. The laughter builds with an ethereal, otherworldly quality, suggesting a spirit that delights in chaos and fear rather than simply haunting. It sits perfectly in a horror game cutscene where a poltergeist reveals itself, or as a spine-chilling audio sting in a paranormal podcast intro. Halloween content creators will find it instantly recognizable as the sound of something ancient and cruel finding its moment. Indie filmmakers can drop it into a haunted house sequence to signal that the entity is no longer hiding. Download this royalty-free ghost laughter clip and let it do the terrifying work for you.
